Cancun Day Two: XPLOR

TUES Day two:
Today was an AMAZING day!!! I mean REALLY Amazing!!! We awoke early and at 8am James, Steve, Allyson and I got on a bus that took us to a park called “Xplore.” Xplore is an “All inclusive” adventure park. Free locker, Free food all day (Buffet and Snack Bars), and all day free activities!!! It was freaking AMAZING!!! We hit the Zip-lines first! There were two routes, each taking (at the minimum) 45min. to complete. The first route was the easier route. It was so much fun. At one point we came down the stairs of one zip-line and there was a water-slide! We were like, “What’s this!?” And down we went. I totally got dunked at the bottom. (Thankfully we wore our bathing-suits all day). The zip-lines went through waterfalls and you would end in the water. At the first waterfall I was like, “James isn’t going to make it through the waterfall, he’ll stop before he gets through.” And sure enough, his weight made it so that he stopped IN the water right IN the waterfall. All of us at the top laughed as he attempted to swim out of it while attached to his line. It was so funny. I love James.
After we hit both routes of the Zip-lines (and some wonderful lunch) we went ATV-ing through the Jungle!!! There was Jaguar and Alligator pits and you would go above ground and then underground. And each time you went underground you were there for a while, so you were forced to have to turn on your ATV's lights. You would drive through deep water (but the tide was out when we went, so it usually was a foot deeper). It was pretty awesome. You got to drive, but they told everyone at the start of the drive, "If you break it you buy it." So ... people thought twice about driving recklessly. And Steve got Whistled at on one corner because he was driving too fast lol.We went to the underground caves and went rafting. Their version of Rafting was sitting on artificial logs (shaped like a Huck Fin Raft) and strapping artificial wood to your hands. It was a little different than what I was expecting, but it was still pretty sweet. There were TONS of stalactites in ALL of the underground caves. And some Columns. It was pretty cool to see. I knew they were real, but it was so surreal, they felt almost fake. It was neat to be there, up close and personal. It takes thousands / Millions of years for theses things to form. They are formed from water due to the dripping of materialized solutions. Pretty crazy how some things in this world are created.Next was the underground River swim. It was basically the same as the Rafting, except this time you wore a life vest and swam in the River. There were two Rafting routes and two swimming routes and we took the longer ones on each. At some points you could see the surface and some tress above you, but for the most part it was dark with some lights under the water guiding you on your way. It was fun. And at the end of the River swim was a GIANT CIRCULAR WATERFALL!!! This waterfall we saw at the very top of the Highest zip-line run (Because the stairs went circularly around it). It was fun to swim in it. I would have gotten more video and pictures of it, but my camera had been used ALL day, so it died right after I went though the tunnel into the center of the falls. It was sad.But after that we ate more food and headed to the Hammock Zip-lines. It was just two lines over/in water. That you would go back and forth on. But it was a bunch of sitting Hammocks and you would go and land in the water. It was quite enjoyable. And at the very end of the day we went on one more run of Zip-lines. Overall IT WAS AMAZING!!! Everyone should go! (P.S. every time James left me alone for a minute, I would get hit on by the locals. "You gotta boyfriend." "You are very Beautiful." and so on...)
Love Always,
Mrs Fray Fray
