December Stuffings

December was Jammed Packed! With Events, Work & Family Gatherings. We hit up two Ugly Sweater Parties and James and I borrowed these little sweaters from a couple in our ward. Yes, my sweater does have lights on it. Santa looks a little evil. James had to leave a few days before Christmas up to Canada because his Grandmother Fraser Passed away. The Whole Family met up in Regina, Seskatchewan. I couldn't attend due to my work schedule, but I think they all had a good time catching up with one another. We did however get the opportunity to talk with her on the phone right before she passed away. I guess she hadn't opened her eyes in quite a while, but when we called she opened them. I think that was very special for James. Such a Blessing.
Our First Christmas ornament!
A Nativity ornament made of wood from a tree in the Holy land. Love it.
We bought this ornament this year. Buster the Bronco! (For good reason, If you know what I mean ;)
I am a perfectionist when it comes to our Christmas Tree. To me the tree is the most important part of the Christmas Season. Each branch I individually wrapped with lights. The room glowed it was so bright.
One of my Friends from work had me over to do some awesome crafts! We put beads on silver wear, and I know that sounds weird, but it was so cool! We made rice heat packs and made bookmarks. Then another friend of hers came over who is starting a cup cake business called "Cuppy-Cakes" and the cup cakes were so good! Delicious.
We started this puzzle at our House, but ... we never finished it because, well, it was too difficult. But, the fact that we attempted was all that mattered. At my Grandparents home we did a jigsaw puzzle that had larger pieces, making for an easier defeat of it! We all worked on it consistently, but I think I did the most ;)
Little Whitney Came to Visit for a few days! So did Heather & her fam Fam!

MOvember

Moustache November, AKA "MO-Vember." The month to promote men's health Awareness while growing Dirty Staches. The dirtier the stache, the cooler you become. And perhaps the more money you are able to raise for men's health/Prostate Cancer.
This is a November ONLY event. Mustaches grown outside of this month are just classified as dirty. Not cool. But of course, my husband finds any excuse to grow a mustache(Sometimes Making up an event in March called, "Mustache March"). So, Mo-Vember is perhaps his favorite time of year. Especially since American Thanksgiving happens in Mo-vember. That way he can store food in his mustache for days on end if need be ;)This year he has decided to sport the Handle Bar mustache. Letting the ends of the bars grow a little puffier than the rest of the mustache. We don't call it by this name though. We call them his "Squirrel Legs." And they can dance too!

Oscer Myer Weiner Mobile

What's that!? The Oscer Myer Weiner Mobile is hanging out in Boise! Say WHAT!!!?
I Saw it AND took photos with it on my phone! Then 3 weeks later (before I could figure out how to move photos from my phone to the computer) My phone tragically had a technaical error. Which I guess it just shuts down to never re-awake. Sad part is that my phone was discontinued because of this re-occurring theme it had with other customers. I Lost everything on it! And, I am still phone-less as we speak. It was a month out of the warranty. AND, Verizon sucks. That is all.

Homemade Moccasins

My Husband is so skilled. He can pretty much do just about anything. He recently learned how to make little shoes out of leather. More prominently known as "Moccasins." It's pretty great. With the help of Edy (in our ward) He made himself a pair, and me a pair!
They're like little socks but with style. I really like them, and on his own he even put some shoe grease to make them waterproof. I kept mine grease free (I prefer it that way). From what I understand they aren't that hard to make at all. And if you go into a local leather shop, I'm positive they will have little books on "How to" make them (Our local shop does).

375 Pounds

Mmmmm... Why does my house smell so good as of late? It smells like fresh Apples! Perhaps the 375 lbs of Apples Sitting in our Front Room has something to do with that? How did we come by that many apples you ask? Well, ... It was actually over 1,500 lbs of apples, but after filling people's orders there was only 375 lbs left for us to deliver. So, Until people come by to take away the apples They have ordered. Here they will sit. In my Living Room.
Our Friends the Hurst's are actually the ones who came upon these apples through a friend. They told us of these apples being sold at 0.11 Cents a Pound! Say What!? Pretty encredible deal for fresh apples! (Fugi apples). James spread the word and everyone we knew were putting in orders. From 5 lbs to 300 lbs! To put it into perspective. 0.55 = 5 lbs, $33 = 300 lbs! What a Steal! And The Hurst's were so awesome to go pick them up for everyone in their Truck to deliver them.
It was Raining the Day they delivered them to us. Or slushing. However you call snow that turns to mush as it descends and hits the ground. Julia was such a trooper. She was whipping these apples out into boxes like no body's business, AND she is with Child! She's a beast. (In only the good kind of way). The picture above shows what the truck looked like near the end of the deliveries! SOO many Apples!
Happy Almost Thanksgiving! Hope You enjoy something this month with a flare of apple in it.
Love Always,
Mrs. Fray Fray
