Thor Everett Fraser
November 1st 2012
Thor is actually a family name on my Mother's side that we selected while we were still engaged to be married. James saw it on our family tree chart, pointed to it and said, "Thor! We'll name our first son Thor." And I was like, "Ok."And that was that. (Side Note: Everett is My Grandmother's Maiden Name).
Then that stupid movie came out! lol And I was like, "We're still going to name him Thor!"
If Anything, the movie made his name more interesting than it would have been. PLUS we get to take neat photos now with Hammer's and Winged hats!
James and I had Really Really wanted Thor to be born on Halloween, because my Grandfather's Birthday is on Halloween. And I actually went into labor ON Halloween! My Mom called my Grandfather and Told him I was in Labor and he replied, "Well tell her to hurry up!" Haha, like I have any control over THAT! But him Being Born on November 1st was pretty awesome due to the Fact that it ended up Being on a Thursday, which ... is THORSday! How cool is that!? AND Nov. 1st was our Due date. So, ... he was born ON his due date. THAT like NEVER happens!
James had a friend on FB tell us the following statement, and I thought it was pretty neat.
"I like his first name. Was his being born on a Thursday a factor in the name choice? Thursday comes from "Thor's Day."Do you like the number 5? He was born during the 5 O'Clock hour. He was born on the 5th day of the week. Also, Thursday's corresponding planet, Jupiter, is the 5th Planet from the Sun. There are 5 Distinct letters in his last name. The most common vowel in his full name is "e", Which is the 5th letter of the alphabet. The 5th letter of his full name is "e". The 5th letter of his middle name is "e". The 5th letter of his last name is "e". The 5th last letter of his middle name is "e". The only Roman Numeral in his full name is "v" which has the roman numeral value 5, and is the fifth last letter of the alphabet."
Our Future Little Rucker!
Love Always,
Mrs. Fray Fray
