32 Ways to Experience Mexico

At the end of our first group Dinner Everyone was assigned to a group. 4/group. The task was given to us, and should we accept, we were to go out and take photos with the following List of items. The only catch was, ALL 4 members of the group HAD to be in the photo in order to qualify. The group with the most photos by the next Group Dinner Wins! And what do they win you may ask? A FREE EXCURSION! Meaning it had approx. a $400 dollar value! YES!
So we were All in! Right after we left there was a market in the common area below that night so we hit it up and started to dominate our list. 32 Items were on it to be exact, and we got 26/27 if you count the dead animal we selected ;)

We got a shot of us with a guy with a Hairy back, BUT ... it's stuck on my camera. I have like 5 photos stuck on there that won't come off! So, for the competition it still counted.
The following Items Below are the items we did not get photos with But we did eat a churro later. Anyways, No-one was even close to beating us. I think the closest had 7 photos. I did tell everyone that WE were going to win it, and I did try to intimidate people to not do it. I know, how silly of me. But I really REALLY wanted to win this! So, you gotta do what you gotta do. =]
27. Churro

Bartering Locals

Luchador Masks!!! THat's ALL the guys would even look at ALL Day! Well, that, And Sunglasses.
On our way to church.
Jess actually cut off the bottom of her dress and sewed it on as sleeves. It looked so good.
We found a Youth Hostel on our way to church.
Everyone that hit up church. We literally took up half of the seats in sacrament meeting. James and I Felt bad that we were taking the seats, and we couldn't even understand what was being said so we gave 'em up to another family. The missionaries were in the hall and interpreted for us, the Harris' and the Spackmans. It was pretty sweet. #HiddenBlessings.
Street Meat. Doesn't it look tempting!? I don't think Teag's thinks so. Not gonna lie, this girl has the best facial expressions ever.
These streets liven up at night.
I absolutley LOVE the Mirror Aviators we found! They actually fit my face! AND I look nice in them! I feel like I can look good in most any hat, but when it comes to Sunglasses, it's very rare I find ANY that look descent on me. My face to Sunglasses is like Most girls Butt's to Jeans. They get frustrating trying to make their butts fit, I get frustrated trying to get my face to fit? Well, you get the idea.
I LOVE these little puppet dolls! Maybe it's because I grew up watching the sound of music and Pinocchio?
We went from Vendor to Vendor bartering for Sunglasses. Ben didn't get along with one vendor and so he left to hit up a guy across the street, and every time he walked back in to tell us to leave they would lower the price for us AND they would start bickering lol "Get out of here Seniorita!" THey would yell at him. It was quite entertaining to say the least.
It's fun to look around to see what everyone is selling, but once you've seen 10 shops, you've literally "Seen them All" mostly due to the fact that Everyone Sells the same junk there. Even at the Different ruins, the shops sell the same stuff as the shops in town. Only difference is that the price is higher at the ruins.

Cancun Beach Break

Archery/Relaxation Day! We just kicked around the resort for a day and chilled at the beach, pool and Archery Range! James and I did awesome! James hit the dead center during his practice round. I hit the circular target every time! I Love Archery. Hence Why we have a bow & Arrow at home. But James is the one that plays with it. The string is too tight for me to pull back. But I know James will get a special one for me once we get enough money for another one.
Feeling SOooo Katniss Right now. #HungerGames
The remains of a lizard on the side of an archery Post.
James Did Great!
James can be Gale ;D #HungerGames
We did a lot of body surfing. We had a race bak to shore with the rule of not being able to touch the ground with your feet. I lost horribly, and cheated from the start. Still made it back to shore last. I am a horrible swimmer. The boys battled it out pretty good though.
Sunbathing. James made a tent for his face. So cute.
James found this Ring for me in the sand at the volleyball pit! I LOVE IT!
Playing against other guests at the Resort.
Let the Underwater photo shoot Begin!
She looks so Sad :(
Love Always,
