Summer Back Waxing

Durring the Summer, while we were still doing security, James was at a hotel for a week without me. It was a super nice hotel (because they couldn't find anything crappier in that area otherwise they would have stayed somewhere crappy). Anyways, James saw that there was a spa there and decided to get his back waxed for his wife while she was gone, and for some strange reason had Eric video tape it lol. So enjoy the quick version of my husbands pain (This is for you Cheryl). OUCH! LOL!!!

Homecoming / Room / Clothes

James and I attended Boise State's Homecoming game against Toledo this past weekend and it was fantastic! The stadium was packed, some of the photos show, and others were at halftime-ish so it doesn't look so full, but it was packed, mostly with BSU fans. Boise Blew Toledo out of the water, but the best part is, that because they made 5 touchdowns (at a home game) we got 25% off of merchandise at the BSU store on Monday! James was super excited! He got a Rugby shirt from there and we both got Jersey's!
Now I actually have a piece of BSU apparel! Also, I FINALLY got the room clean clean, a few weeks ago, and so I have decided to show you what my bedroom looks like. Just so you know, since the bathroom is so small, and because there is only one outlet in there, I use the white dresser as my vanity to get ready for the day. That's why we put that one mirror sideways like that and why we have a lamp to light it up. My husband is always so clever like that. Pure skill. P.S. We're both wearing our "That's what she said" shirts at the BSU game...

ESPN Game day + WALDO

The first two pictures are from ESPN game day at the Home depot. There would have been more, but ... my camera died. How gay. But at the ESPN game day events there was a football goal post set up for people to kick a field goal. I watched as some succeeded and some failed. Then my husband tried, and tried, and tried, and failed. It was sort of funny to watch. He was a great sport about it though. Then I got up, and my first kick I SUCCEEDED! Straight through the center! How did I do it? I watched the angle people would place the ball before they kicked it, and those who layed it more flat on the tee always seemed to kick it perfect. So that's what I did. And SUCCESS! It was nice. It made me feel good about myself! :) The picture of me in a wig is a preview of what is to come when the institute plays "Where's Waldo" James, Robert and I are all dressing up for it and I am going to wear a wig. Not this one, but ... it gives you an idea. Plus I look good I think. We're all on the "good times" committee, so we help plan all the fun activities. We try to make it so that we'd actually come to it lol. No dumb stuff. I think I might pretend to be pregnant as well... I'll tell you all bout the game when it happens, I think in Nov?
P.S. This is my spirit dress! Along with our Spirit Car! lol

Game 3: Boise @ ISU

So BSU played against ISU and they were defeated, but they did get a few points in, and played much better this week then the last week against Washington. I'm not talking point wise, I'm talking about overall unity and actual play was better within the team, so that was good to see. ISU has their very own Rugby field! It was pretty sweet. They even had Rocks forming "ISU Rugby." As you can see it was by the church lol which made me laugh a bit. It's like subliminal messaging. At the game a guy everyone calls "Super-fan" brought a HUGE flag, and would run across the field every time they scored.
He looks like a little leprechaun. Random, but true. He creeped me out the first game because I think he attempted to flirt with me (but he was mostly just a creeper), but I put an end to that by kissing James, and making sure he saw. For he was only as big as James' arm. Literally a leprechaun, with red hair. All he was missing was the little booties with the belt on them lol. Tons of flags from different countries were set up around the field. I think ISU is really into their Rugby because their football team isn't doing much for them. But hopefully one day BSU will get more into Rugby. Rugby's funner to watch anyways.
The Ball kept going over the fence and down the hill.

Home Game BSU

James' first home game was on the 18th of September. It was also the second official game that the Rugby team had. They played two games against Washington State and well ... got spanked. But's that's O.K. THey were learning and they are a new team. Washington on the other hand, has been playing together for years now, and they recruit players (they got a little bling bling$). The only downside to losing was that the school newspaper's title and article told all about how we got dominated. The title was a little harsh (It pretty much told it like it was). James has been doing awesome! GO JAMES!!! Robert, Uncle Terrell, Aunt Charlotte, and Grandpa all came out to watch! Aunt Charlotte got really excited and was like, "Oh it's like soccer, oh it's like football, oh it's like hockey!" It was fun to see her reaction. She also liked that it wasn't 3 hours to watch like football, and that the game kept going. Grandpa and Terrell were surprised here and there with some of the game. Such as: When the players throw in the ball from out-of-bounds and they get lifted into the air. It was overall a good/fun time.
If you notice in the photos above, they had to create football goal posts, and also they played a game while warming up where they were all trying to pass a numerous amount of balls to each other at the same time, and if you dropped it you were out!
